Great free day out for the kids.
Very well set out museum with lots to do. Friendly, enthusiastic & very knowledgeable volunteers. The kids are encouraged to try out an play in/on lots of the exhibits. Fantastic value for money at 5 per adult & kids free. Well worth a visit & I'm sure we will be back many times.
Fabulous. Santa was excellent. Lovely gift for the kiddies. Well worth the small fee. Volunteers very informative and friendly. Cafeteria served lovely mince meat pies , cakes, shortbread and pancakes. Teas and coffees served in china cups. Kids are made very welcome. Well worth a visit.
I used to go here when I was younger and it was great to get back. We timed it well when they had a fantastic open day with displays and aircraft landing. There was loads to see and do, all the volunteers and staff were fantastic and very knowledgeable.
Absolutely brilliant!! My kids aged 4 and 7 were enthralled.. Flying planes, playing with 1940s toys, super friendly staff too.This was truly history made palatable for all. The remembrance area was simply stunning and reduced me to tears thinking of the sacrifices others made for us.Entry price is reasonable at five pounds for adults and children are always free.Well worth a visit.
