Never dissapointed, great value, always welcomed

I saw Roslyn for a cut and dye of my bleached hair. I asked for my natural colour (Roslyn matched dark blonde) and a short cut as it was damaged. Roslyn spent the entire appointment (hours) complaining how broken my hair was and pointing out each broken hair, making me feel terrible. I kept apologizing and apologizing. She didn't speak to me about anything else. I knew my hair was bad, that's was why I was there! Roslyn only coloured the top 2 inches of my hair very dark golden brown, the rest stayed the same light bleached blonde. The colour was so dark that it looked very fake and horrible. She made no attempts to fix my hair and seemed happy to send me out the door looking a mess as long as she got paid. What she did cut was uneven. I actually tipped her as she had complained so much and made me feel bad, like I had been lots of extra work. I went home and cried from what she had said.I spent a week trying to tone the colour cooler to fix it myself but couldn't without re-dying. I called the salon and I was told that Roslyn is an independent and that no one else would see me. At the salon Roslyn aggressively pulled through my hair to the point that it felt invasive, while directly laughing in my face about how horrible my hair was (bit rich as her hair looked fried with yellowy highlights). I snapped at her for laughing at the hair she ruined as I was again so upset by her behaviour. Roslyn tried to blame the bad colour on my hair being too damaged but should have refused to dye my hair if true. She claimed that my natural hair colour would blend in better now but I would have been left with three distinct colours in my hair after a few weeks of growth. She also claimed using a blonde colour would have turned my hair green, though didn't say this before. I would have dyed my hair myself if I had known she couldn't do it.I was refunded (with tip as I'd told her why I tipped) but no apology, only angry glares. Roslyn had said she couldn't fix the colour. I bought a demi-permanent brown box dye as a quick fix for work and got my hair a cooler brown all over, first try. I originally posted a review on Facebook which I felt was balanced and made it clear the review was for Roslyn and the salon's lack of professional attitude both times and NOT the dye job (colouring mistakes do happen). I hoped that Roslyn would reply and maybe tell me why she was laughing at me (misunderstanding?). I explained how upset I was and that I felt very bad about snapping at her. I also wanted to apologise to her after she replied to me.Within minutes of posting, I got a bunch of angry reaction faces and attacked by randoms for "lying", being "jealous and nasty", "trying to ruin her business". Neither Roslyn or the salon replied to my comments, though 9(!) 5* reviews appeared within hours of mine, with review wording aimed at me. My review then disappeared and my account got locked (likely flagged as spam by the salon and removed by FB as I had a new account). It seems the salon posts fake reviews and uses sock accounts to harass anyone who says otherwise, or sends their friends to do so.Overall, I would have preferred that Roslyn tell me in advance that I would end up with a patchy different colour than the one I asked for since she claimed she knew this would happen. I fully understand that the bad condition of my hair is the reason the dye didn't work all over though and never blamed her for that (a cooler light brown half dye would have looked fine). I'm not happy that the salon gave me an independent without telling me.Edit: The Citizens Advice Bureau told me that the salon is responsible for resolving the problem as I booked through them and not Roslyn, meaning the salon lied to me. They also said I shouldn't be out of pocket (about 40) fixing Roslyn's mistakes myself. After stripping the golden brown, my hair is still orangey even after re-dying a cooler blonde (no green though). I can only wait for it to grow out now as my hair colour is completely ruined. At least 2 years. CAD also said I had a case for compensation.

Love to get my hair done and Chloes too.

Atmosphere good and especially liked jo, she listened to the look i was going for and did a lovely job. Will be returning as a regular
