I was a long term client when Gordon Baxter was the owner. When the practice was taken over I was called in for a check-up.First the dentist asked if I was allergic to latex (yes) to which she asked "how allergic" I was. After pulling the assistant into the corner to whisper, the appointment continued. It was clear the practice was not prepared for this and I was treated with latex gloves. More whispering ensured throughout the appointment which I felt unprofessional and rude.During the appointment I was given an X-ray and at my next appointment told I needed a filling, which I refused as I wanted a second opinion. Two other members of my family were told the same, despite that all three of us had had no pain. After a second opinion none of us received fillings (and have not to this day). The owners appears to have left but the branding remains the same (hence this review). I haven't seen any of the other dentists as I switched immediately after my second opinion, however I would be cautious if recommended a filling here. Unfortunately it is common for dentists to fill imaginary cavities purely for profit.
